SYNOPSIS:  “The Real Woman”.This compelling short references the music video genre while parading images of striking women contrasting between stylized beauty poses and mundane day-to-day circumstances. The spoken word piece performed over a haunting music track challenges men to consider the reality of femininity versus the media’s image of women. The Real Woman encourages men and women alike to embrace the whole female experience and to appreciate that womanhood is not exclusive from femininity. G. ATWELL

“A Night of Art; A night of Courage” 2006 CD RELEASE VIDEO

SYNOPSIS: Check out various live clips of Ingrid D. Johnson’s premier spoken word CD release of “Black Butterfly” on October.22nd, 2006. A portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales went to KLINIC ( a local resource center that treats women who have gone through sexual assault and other forms of domestic violence) in Winnipeg Manitoba. The Show featured several, talented, Winnipeg musicians and artists with all show planning and publicity by In The Closet Productions. In addition, Bravo! News ( Toronto) was kind enough to fly in from Toronto to cover the event and Hot 103, Uof M radio, CKUW, Shaw T.V., and CBC National News were also kind enough to lend their support promoting the event. It was the birth of, God willing, many future events hosted by In The Closet Productions that  will spark awareness and insight into dealing with and overcoming the trauma of childhood sexual abuse and other forms of domestic violence issues.
